My printing commentary:
I'm always worried about making prints like this one by Vladimir – with linear, clean and precise work. They don't seem to match this low-tech character of riso, in which slight defficiency of the paint, shifting layers and small stains are just inseparable from the printing process. But I have to admit, this project just works, in spite of all the worries at the beginning and thanks to perfectly done project by Vladimir we achieved very cool result - combination of digital drawing and analog aesthetic of riso. Also, we used colours, which we've never explored that much before - Teal and Federal Blue. I'm happy like a kid, because they just worked brilliantly. I recommend, Michał Chojecki :)
Print was published as a part of PosteRiso project - regulary, every few months I invite various artists to create a print especially for Oficyna towards printing on riso. I choose designers and illustrators thoughtfully, whose work inspires me and I want to promote. As a curator of the concept and a printer, I put my heart and soul into every print and I invite you to discover and collect riso prints together.
Prints are available individually or in sets.
