Kury 2022 - kalendarz Pracowni Sitodruku Sito

As a members of the Serigraphy Workshop SITO, working together with Oficyna Peryferie in Pracownia Wschodnia in Warsaw, we created a collective calendar for 2022. Each one of the twelve artists, has created and printed a graphic that is responding to the topic that was invented during preparations: KURY (chickens)

This work will help with growth and equipment of the workshop. We invite You to support us!

Description from the artists:

"For many people, chicken brings to their mind only rosół (chicken soup). Perceiving it only that way, makes it impossible to meet its true nature."

Chicken is a strong woman, caregiver, rebel. A friend, who sees the seed, and will share it with her loved ones first. She's an educator for her mentees. A botanist, phisycist, nurse. She's got an excellent memory. Has better and worse days. Good and bad dreams. As a closest relative to Tyrannosaurus, she has survived to this day.

It can all sounds like anthropomorphization, but it's not like that. Chickens are just like that."
