Signed with three stamps on the back: „printed on Riso by Oficyna Peryferie”, X/100 numeration with „I edition" mark and a stamp with information about the author and a title.

My printing commentary: This is the first work of Ramon that I've printed. I had rest of black paint and after few drops, Riso informed me, that it won't work without new ink. I checked on the shelf – I had backups for every other colour except black. What to do? Order and wait? Maybe I can think of something different.

Before I met Riso, I used to work with serigraphy a lot. One of the way of working with serigraphy is spilling the paint onto screen and getting improvised gradients from all the colours that are mixing together in more or less unexpected way.

I decided to relate to that technique and treat this print as a Riso experiment. I put navy blue ink into black cylinder. Start. Print after print, rests of black ink started to dissapear and more of the navy blue have shown. Rollers, that are inside cylinder don't smear the paint evenly, so stripes of more or less intensive colour appeared, giving sort of sense of space and uneven lightning. Print was published as a part of PosteRiso project - regulary, every few months I invite various artists to create a print especially for Oficyna towards printing on riso. I choose designers and illustrators thoughtfully, whose work inspires me and I want to promote. As a curator of the concept and a printer, I put my heart and soul into every print and I invite you to discover and collect riso prints together.
